Scan Stakan Traded 186 Ships for 55 Kills in E-WMT7

The last confirmed loss in E-WMT7 was a Mobile Tractor Unit. Nobody fits guns to one, nobody flies one into battle, and nobody will ever hang a medal on it - but at 18:50 UTC it died on a field that had already absorbed 376 ships and roughly 156.6 billion ISK. Three hours and twenty-three minutes of capital-grade violence, and the final entry on the killboard is somebody's wreck-collecting gadget.

x Never Regret x Won Raa's Capital Brawl, 40 Kills to 13 Losses

Raa's capital fight opened, as these things occasionally do, with a Retriever. At 17:28 UTC the mining barge was already wreckage - the first confirmed loss of what would become a 102-minute brawl. By the time the last one landed at 19:10 UTC, a capsule belonging to WHITE H0RSE, the system had absorbed 87 kills, 26 of them capitals, one structure, and roughly 158 billion ISK of somebody's money, spread across 187 pilots. The bill was led, improbably, by a single Revelation worth more than 75 billion ISK - nearly half the value of the entire engagement, spent on one hull that no longer exists.

ChuangShi Fed 249 Hulls to a Three-Hour Grinder in Querious

The first thing to die in P-ZMZV was a capsule belonging to the Royal Amarr Institute at 13:49. The last was a Mobile Sanguine Harvester belonging to The Northerners at 16:56 - a deployable, which is what gets shot when a fleet has run out of better targets and is reduced to tidying up. In between, 829 pilots destroyed 638 ships and structures across a system in Querious. The final bill came to a little over 172 billion ISK, four capitals did not come home, and the whole thing ran for three hours and seven minutes without ever really stopping.

Rattini Tribe and Prime Directive. Spent Four Hours Bleeding Each Other Dry

At 16:15 UTC the first thing to die in Dal was an Amarr Shuttle. Just under four hours later, the last thing to die was a capsule. In between, two organisations spent an afternoon proving that neither of them was willing to be the one who left first.

Rattini Tribe Fights Both Ways as Amamake Claims an Avatar

The first confirmed loss of the night in Amamake was a Slasher. It died at 22:01, and at that point the system was just doing what Amamake normally does. Three hours and fifty-eight minutes later, the last loss on the board was a Hecate. In between, 1,733 pilots put 1,712 wrecks into one Heimatar lowsec system and left around 685 billion ISK of it burning in the dark - including an Avatar-class Titan worth more than 142 billion on its own.

Battles

Three Capitals Die in J151530 While No Vacancies Keep Score

The opening loss in J151530 was a Loki belonging to Diamond Dogs., which by the standards of what followed was practically a rounding error. Thirty-five minutes later, the last thing to die in the same wormhole was a capsule. In between, three capitals were wrecked, 86 ships were destroyed, and roughly 97.2 billion ISK quietly stopped existing. Somebody's wormhole had just become a very expensive room.

Battles

Scan Stakan Traded 53 Kills for 149 Losses in F-5WYK

Three hundred and fifty-five pilots spent two and a half hours feeding ships into F-5WYK. When the shooting finally stopped, 302 of those ships were gone, 134 billion ISK had changed hands in the most direct way possible, and a single battleship class had quietly swallowed more than a third of the bill.

Battles

Scan Stakan's Three-Hour Bill in E-WMT7: 186 Ships, 55 Kills

For three hours and twenty-three minutes, E-WMT7 was less a star system than a scrapyard with a sun in it. When the shooting finally stopped, 376 ships had been destroyed, four of them capitals, and 442 pilots had taken part. But the number that actually defines this battle is simpler: 186. That is how many of the wrecks carried the same name - Scan Stakan.

x Never Regret x Traded 40 Kills for 13 in Raa's Capital Brawl

The first loss in Raa was a Retriever, which is a mining barge and has no business at all in a capital engagement. The last confirmed loss, 102 minutes later, was a capsule. In between, 187 pilots racked up 87 losses and 158.3 billion ISK of destruction, and close to half of that total sat inside a single Revelation that no longer exists.

ChuangShi Spent Four Hours Losing 248 Ships in V-3U8T

The first confirmed loss in V-3U8T was a capsule - Chuangshi College's, killed at 13:00 UTC, before the afternoon had really got going. A capsule only dies once the ship around it has already gone, so the fight in this corner of Querious opened with somebody already out of options and no way home. The next three hours and fifty-six minutes were less a battle than a queue. When the last wreck was logged at 16:56 - a mobile deployable belonging to The Northerners, the sort of thing that appears on a field only after the shooting stops - 619 ships had died in a single system, 823 pilots had been involved, and roughly 168 billion ISK had been converted into salvage. Four capitals were among the dead, and so were four structures. By any measure this was a proper capital engagement in nullsec, the kind that neither side walks away from cheaply. Only one side, though, will be in a hurry to open the killboard.

ChuangShi Fed 183 Hulls to The Northerners in P-ZMZV

At 13:53 EVE time, a Slasher died in P-ZMZV. On its own, that is not news. The Slasher is a Minmatar frigate, cheap enough that most pilots lose one before they learn to fly it properly, and whoever was sitting in that one could reasonably have assumed the evening would improve from there. It did not. For the next two hours and forty-one minutes, P-ZMZV - a system out in Querious - turned into the kind of place fleets go to be spent. By the time the last shot landed at 16:34, 519 ships were gone, four capital hulls and four structures were part of the wreckage, and the bill had reached roughly 172.2 billion ISK across 774 pilots. Somebody's directors had a very long night.

Rattini Tribe Took 76 Kills in Dal and Lost 50 Doing It

At 16:15 UTC the first thing to die in Dal was an Amarr Shuttle - cheap, disposable, and gone in an instant. Three hours and forty minutes later the shooting finally stopped, and by then 517 ships had been destroyed in the Heimatar system, fourteen of them capitals, for a combined bill of roughly 193 billion ISK. 557 pilots took part. Nobody finished with a clean killboard.

Rattini Tribe Topped Amamake's Kill List and Its Loss List

The first thing Amamake killed that night was a Slasher, a frigate cheap enough that losing one barely counts as an event. It died at 22:01 UTC. Four hours later, at 01:59, the last confirmed loss was a Hecate, and by then the scoreboard read 1,710 wrecks, 1,730 pilots and roughly 681 billion ISK of destroyed hardware. Somewhere between those two timestamps, an Avatar-class Titan died.

Battles

Eifer Burned 169 Capitals and Blackwater Was on Both Sides

Somewhere in the wreckage of Eifer is a Zirnitra, and the loss board prices it at just over 513 billion ISK. It was not travelling alone. By the time the shooting stopped, 267 ships had been destroyed in a single Heimatar system - 169 of them capitals - and the total bill had climbed past 1.26 trillion ISK. For two hours, Eifer was a genuinely terrible place to be flying anything expensive.

Southern Cross Monopoly Wins the Ledger, Evermore Warriors Pay the Bill

A Revelation Navy Issue is roughly 18.7 billion ISK of Amarr dreadnought, and for a while in V2-GZS it was doing exactly what it was built to do. Then it wasn't. By the time the last escape pod cracked, seven more capital hulls had joined it in the dark, forty-three ships were gone, and 56.9 billion ISK had been quietly removed from The Kalevala Expanse in the space of fifteen minutes.

Lowlife. Topped Eifer's Kills and Lost 14 Ships Anyway

The first ship to die in Eifer was an Apostle - a Force Auxiliary, the slow, expensive repair platform that exists to keep a capital fleet breathing. It belonged to Criterion., it died at 17:04 UTC, and it was the opening note of a fight that never really paused. By the time the last confirmed loss landed at 17:57, more than 562 billion ISK had been converted into wreckage, and almost three quarters of the dead were capitals.

Battles

Vecamia's 133 Billion ISK Afternoon Belonged to African Atomic.

Twelve capitals died in Vecamia. The most expensive ship on the field was a battleship. Over 48 minutes in the Genesis region, 318 pilots put 126 ships on the killboards, took one structure with them, and ran up a bill of 132.6 billion ISK. The largest single line item was a CONCORD Marshal, a hull so rare that its 50.9 billion ISK price tag came in higher than the Phoenix, Revelation and Revelation Navy Issue destroyed around it combined. None of that is how a capital battle is supposed to work out.

ChuangShi Fed V-3U8T for Three Hours and Left 248 Wrecks

At 13:49 EVE time, the first thing destroyed in V-3U8T was a capsule belonging to a pilot in the Royal Amarr Institute. Three hours and seven minutes of sustained violence later, the last confirmed loss was a Mobile Sanguine Harvester belonging to The Northerners. In between, 1,611 pilots put 615 ships on the killboards and burned through roughly 331 billion ISK in a single system in Querious. A third of a trillion, spent in one afternoon.

Fuxi Legion's 49-Wreck Half Hour Against Alkaid Broken Army

The first ship to die in Y-C3EQ was an Arazu, a covert scout belonging to the Science and Trade Institute, and it died at 11:35 UTC - the sort of detail that only becomes interesting afterwards. What followed was thirty-one minutes of the kind of fighting that turns a quiet Pure Blind system into a wreck field. When the last loss landed at 12:06, ninety-one ships were gone, 135 billion ISK had been converted into salvage and resentment, and roughly 1,800 pilots had been in the system to watch it happen.

Diamond Dogs.' 51 Billion ISK Clone Cost More Than a Dreadnought

The most expensive thing to die in J151530 was not a capital ship. It was a capsule - a clone's escape pod - valued at just under 51 billion ISK. It was the last confirmed loss of a thirty-six minute brawl that removed roughly 194 billion ISK from New Eden, and it out-priced every dreadnought and force auxiliary that died around it.

Diamond Dogs. Killed 34 Ships and Lost 34 in One Wormhole

The first thing to die in J151838 was a Gallente Shuttle, which is about as cheap as death gets in New Eden. Eighty-seven minutes later, four capital ships were gone, 79 wrecks were logged, and the most expensive single loss of the night was a Phoenix Navy Issue carrying 134 billion ISK of somebody's money. In wormhole space, nobody gets to leave early.

Battles

Scan Stakan Killed 55 Ships and Lost 186 in the Same Fight

E-WMT7 produced 376 killmails, somewhere around 134 billion ISK of wreckage, and one battleship worth more than a force auxiliary, a Nestor and a Typhoon Fleet Issue put together. The number that stings harder is 186. That is how many ships Scan Stakan lost in the same engagement in which they killed 55 - top of the kill list and top of the loss list, in a single three-and-a-half-hour afternoon.

x Never Regret x Takes 40 Kills as Raa Burns 26 Capitals

At 17:28 UTC, a Retriever died in Raa. Retrievers die constantly, and in Devoid that is more or less the job description. This one is only worth mentioning because of what followed it: for the next hundred minutes, a system on the edge of Amarr space turned into a scrapyard, and by the time the last shot landed at 19:10, 87 ships had been destroyed and the bill had reached 157.4 billion ISK. Almost half of that was one Revelation.

Rattini Tribe and Prime Directive. Split Dal's 192 Billion ISK Bill

An Amarr Shuttle belonging to G0lden Fleet. died in Dal at 16:15 UTC. That is not normally the opening line of a 192 billion ISK story, but Dal spent the next three hours and forty-one minutes making sure nobody forgot it. By the time the last capsule in the system - belonging to x Never Regret x - came apart at 19:56, 557 pilots had produced 516 confirmed losses, fourteen capital ships had been wrecked, and the Heimatar system had eaten just over 192 billion ISK. That is not a skirmish somebody stumbled into. That is a decision, made over and over, for the better part of four hours.
