THE PUSH
What began around MN9P-A is no longer contained to a single point of pressure. With RAI-0E and TA9T-P now drawn into the campaign, the conflict in The Kalevala Expanse is starting to look less like a local contest and more like a regional effort. That expansion matters: once a campaign begins to touch multiple systems, it becomes harder to isolate and easier for momentum to carry from one pocket of space to the next.
THE HOLD
For now, the notable shift is that defenders are regaining ground. In a campaign this young, that does not settle the wider struggle, but it does suggest the line is not simply collapsing under pressure. The Rejected appear to be absorbing the opening wave and pushing back enough to blunt the advance, at least in part. That kind of response can slow a wider offensive and force an opponent to commit more heavily if they want to keep the pressure building.
THE WIDENING FRONT
The addition of RAI-0E and TA9T-P points to pressure that is spreading rather than concentrating. That is often where a regional campaign begins to take on more serious weight: neighbouring systems start to matter, staging routes become more exposed, and the defenders are forced to cover more ground. Even without any systems removed from play, the current pattern suggests the contest is becoming more complex, not less.
THE NEXT TURN
The immediate question is whether The Rejected can turn this early recovery into a stable defence, or whether the broader pressure in The Kalevala Expanse will keep finding new openings. The front remains active, and the fact that it is still expanding means the next phase could hinge on whether the defenders can hold their regained ground long enough to stop the campaign from deepening further.
