The Front Relocated, It Did Not Advance
The first snapshot of this campaign put the pressure on 1-KCSA and UJXC-B. Roughly five days later, the contested systems were G4-QU6 and TA9T-P, and the footprint was still two systems wide. Nothing was gained, nothing was lost, and the address changed anyway. That distinction matters. Pressure that moves without accumulating looks less like a breakthrough being manufactured and more like a search for a softer place to stand. The Skeleton Crew has been made to answer in a different pair of systems while the number of contests it is fighting stayed exactly the same.
Two Hub Defences, and a Defender Still Ahead
Both live contests are ihub defences, which puts the stakes squarely on the structures that decide who holds the space rather than on a scrap over a gate or a belt. The Skeleton Crew holds the larger share of the contest in both systems, and the attackers have not closed that gap at any point across the campaign. Being ahead is not the same as being finished, and a hub defence that grinds on for days is still a hub defence, but the defenders are answering the question being asked of them.
Five Days, Two Snapshots, One Number
Tracked across roughly 120 hours, attacker pressure has barely moved and the contest has not shifted between observations at all. Both readings were flagged as escalating, which is worth noting in itself: activity can rise while the underlying position stands perfectly still. What the data describes is a grinding stalemate rather than a breakthrough, and grinding stalemates are the expensive kind. Whatever is being spent to keep two hub defences hot in Kalevala, five days have produced very little ground to show for it.
What a Narrow Front Means for the Neighbourhood
This is a constellation campaign of moderate intensity, contained to two systems, and after five days it has neither widened nor collapsed. Two readings are available here and the evidence does not choose between them. Either the attackers are probing for a seam and will move again once they find one, or this is the whole of the effort and it is not enough to shift a defender who has conceded nothing. What is not in question is that The Skeleton Crew has held its space through a stretch long enough for sustained pressure to become routine.
Read the Shape of the Next Snapshot, Not Its Temperature
If a third system joins the contested list, this stops being a nuisance and starts being an escalation in the sense that matters. If the pair simply changes again while the count stays at two, then the story of this campaign is not an offensive at all, but a defender being asked the same question in different places. For now The Skeleton Crew holds both hubs, nothing has changed hands, and the pressure is five days long and one address wide.
