THE CATCH

The engagement in G-0Q86 centred on a lone Vindicator that could not get away once Out of the Blue. committed a group of Revelation pilots to the attack. The final blow came from SkeletonWarrior003 flying a Revelation, but the damage was clearly shared across several dreadnoughts as the target was ground down under concentrated capital fire.

THE PRESSURE

The attacking side appears to have applied enough force to make escape impossible before the fight resolved. Four other Revelation pilots — Ernulger Evotori, SkeletonWarrior002, SkeletonWarrior001, and SkeletonWarrior004 — all contributed substantial damage, suggesting the Vindicator was boxed in long enough for the fleet to keep its capitals on target. With 71 attackers credited on the loss and 94 participants involved overall, this was more than a quick pickoff.

THE LOSSES

The Vindicator represented the main prize of the engagement, with 2.1 billion ISK destroyed and 809.5 million ISK dropped.
