The destroyed Vargur accounted for 1.2 billion ISK of the total value, with another 296.2 million ISK recovered or dropped from the wreck. The ship was loaded for sustained combat, carrying large stocks of Republic Fleet Fusion L, Barrage L, and Hail L — the sort of ammunition that signals a pilot ready for a serious fight, not a routine patrol.

THE FINAL BLOW

The decisive damage came from an unknown attacker in a Tower Sentry Angel III, credited with the final blow and all 37,081 points of damage recorded against the target.
