THE CATCH

The engagement in AD040 appears to have been a brief but costly intercept rather than a prolonged fight. Newgas, flying a Stormbringer for 10 Minutes' Notice, was caught by a small hostile pair that included a Renewing Rodiva and a Harrowing Vedmak. With only four participants recorded overall, the encounter had the feel of a tight hunt rather than a fleet clash, and the Stormbringer quickly became the focal point of the action.

THE PRESSURE

Damage came from more than one direction, with the Vedmak accounting for the larger share of the assault and the Rodiva delivering the final blow.
