THE CATCH

The engagement centred on a single Revelation flown by Soil Dracktan of Fraternity., and once The Initiative. had the target in its sights, the fight moved quickly from pressure to destruction. The capital went down in 4-HWWF under fire from a large attacking force, with 72 pilots credited on the assault and the final blow delivered by zrali in a Redeemer.

THE BREAK

The damage output came from a mixed group rather than a lone executioner. Multiple attackers in black-ops and capital support ships appear to have worked the target down, with Wizarde’s Succubus, Vex Drake’s Widow, and additional Redeemer and Widow pilots all registering heavy damage. The Revelation’s fate was sealed before it could escape the net, and the kill left no ambiguity about which side controlled the grid when the moment came.

THE LOSSES

At 6.4 billion ISK, the loss was a serious one even before the details are counted in full. Most of the value was destroyed outright, including the bulk of the ship’s fuel and maintenance supplies, while only 1.2 billion ISK worth of material was recovered from the wreck.
