The final volley came from Magnus Larson, but the damage had been building long before that last shot landed.

THE CATCH

The target was a Raitaru anchored in Kylmabe, and once Vendetta Mercenary Group committed to the attack, the structure had little room to survive the pressure. The engagement drew 17 participants in all, but the balance of force clearly favoured the attackers, who fielded a disciplined group built around Leshaks and enough firepower to grind the structure down methodically.

THE PRESSURE

Five of the attackers stand out by sheer damage output, with Arindia Mielin, Abazaga, Smazick, masty, and Magnus Larson all contributing heavily in Leshaks. That kind of concentrated fire suggests the assault was not a brief opportunistic hit, but a sustained effort to overwhelm the Raitaru before defenders could break the siege or force a withdrawal. The structure’s defenses gave way under steady punishment rather than a sudden collapse.

THE BREAK

When the Raitaru finally went down, it took much more than the hull with it. The destruction included the Upwell Quantum Core, Standup Manufacturing Plant I, and a Large Ship Manufacturing Material Efficiency module, while 559 Nitrogen Fuel Blocks were recovered and another 392 were destroyed. For JessKa Industries, the loss appears to have been not just structural, but operational, stripping away the industrial backbone tied to the citadel.

THE COST

With a total value of 1.8 billion ISK, the strike was substantial even by structure-loss standards, and the final blow from Magnus Larson in a Leshak closed the book on the station. In Kylmabe, Vendetta Mercenary Group did more than remove a structure from the grid — it took away a production asset and a pile of fuel and fittings with it, a reminder that in New Eden, industrial infrastructure can vanish as decisively as any ship caught out in the open.
