THE STRIKE

The structure came under attack in 3LL-O0 and did not survive the engagement. What began as a small clash quickly resolved around the Raitaru itself, with the loss ultimately landing on Get Off My Lawn through its Gnomeland Services pilotage. The report points to a concentrated hit rather than a broad fleet brawl: three participants were recorded, and one ship was enough to bring the structure down.

THE BREAKDOWN

The final blow came from Creative Alt Name flying a Hel, a heavy commitment for a target of this size and a reminder of how quickly New Eden can escalate when a structure is exposed. The Raitaru’s destruction value was listed at 2.1 billion ISK, with another 1.2 billion ISK in dropped assets. Among the material caught in the wreckage were thousands of Hydrogen Fuel Blocks and sizeable stockpiles of Standup missiles, suggesting the structure was not empty when the attack landed.

THE LOSSES

The loss itself was significant even without a larger battle around it. A Raitaru is not an immortal monument, but neither is it disposable, and its destruction removes a foothold and whatever industrial or logistical function it had been serving in the system. The presence of a Hel as the finishing ship suggests the attacker was willing to commit a capital asset to ensure the job was done cleanly.
