The final blow came from a Loki flown by Saya Ammarr of WE F0RM FDZ, with support from several allied attackers who helped pin the target in place long enough to finish the job.

THE CATCH

The fight was over almost as soon as it began. In 15W-GC, a Fraternity. Proteus belonging to lishizhendepi3 found itself facing a small hunting group that included WE F0RM FDZ and allies from The Initiative. The engagement involved ten pilots overall, but the pressure appears to have been enough to isolate the Proteus before it could turn the situation back in its favor.

THE PRESSURE

The attackers brought a mixed force built for control and close-range punishment. A Loki piloted by tag123k, a Tengu flown by Krainen Hinkura, and a Rapier from Scramb all contributed to the attack, with Saya Ammarr’s Loki doing the heaviest work. The Rapier suggests the victim was likely slowed or pinned long enough for the heavier ships to land their damage cleanly. Once the net was set, the Proteus had little room to breathe.

THE COLLAPSE

Saya Ammarr delivered the final blow, and the strategic cruiser went down with a sizeable amount of cargo and fittings still aboard. The wreck left behind 403.5 million ISK in drops, while another 1.7 billion ISK was destroyed with the ship. Among the losses were drones, Nanite Repair Paste, and overseer effects, underscoring that this was no empty hull but a well-equipped vessel caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.
