The engagement in Sharuveil was brief, but it landed hard. Opposing it was Sedition., with Kento Bento Box in a Rattlesnake applying the decisive damage. The report suggests a small, tightly focused fight rather than a sprawling fleet action, with eight participants total and the encounter ending almost as soon as it began.

THE PRESSURE BUILDS

The Orca did not go quietly. Alongside the Rattlesnake, ships from Daughters of Ane were present in an Onyx, an Arazu, and a Devoter, indicating a net closing around the target rather than a lone opportunistic strike. The picture that emerges is of a ship caught where escape options were limited and the attackers had enough control to keep it from simply slipping away. With only four attackers tied directly to the final blow, the trap appears to have relied more on coordination and positioning than on overwhelming numbers.

THE BREAK

Kento Bento Box’s Rattlesnake delivered the final blow, accounting for the lion’s share of the damage and ending the Orca’s attempt to survive the encounter. Most of the value went up with the hull: about 1.8 billion ISK destroyed, with only 75.4 million ISK recovered. The destroyed cargo and fittings included industrial and mining supplies such as Omber, Heavy Water, Ytirium, and mining charges, reinforcing the impression that this was a working ship that had simply become a very expensive target.
