An Orca worth 1.5 billion ISK was brought down in NIZJ-0 after a 34-ship attacking force caught it in a fight that drew 68 participants to the system. The industrial capital, flown by Chidori117 of Dracarys. and IRONMAN CHALLENGERS, appears to have been overwhelmed by a coordinated bomber strike led by Pillars of Liberty, with Tacnap in a Purifier delivering the final blow.

THE CATCH

What stands out first is not the size of the shipyard hauler’s loss, but the way it was cornered. The Orca was caught in NIZJ-0 and never made it clear of the engagement once the attack was on. With 34 attackers credited on the wreck and a much larger local participant count around the scene, the kill suggests a concentrated strike rather than a passing skirmish.

THE BOMBING RUN

The attackers came from Pillars of Liberty, while the victim belonged to Dracarys. through IRONMAN CHALLENGERS. Several of the most effective attackers were flying stealth bombers, including Purifiers and a Nemesis, pointing to a hit designed to punch through a vulnerable target quickly. Tacnap’s Purifier landed the final blow, but the damage was spread across multiple bombers before the Orca collapsed.

THE LOSSES

The wreck tells the rest of the story. About 1.4 billion ISK was destroyed with only 109.1 million ISK recovered, a heavy swing for a ship that also carried industrial stock.
