Occator Destroyed in Sudden Passari Ambush

A Hard Knocks Citizens Occator was caught and destroyed in Passari in a brief but costly strike that left only a handful of pilots on either side and more than 1.3 billion ISK in losses hanging on the wreckage. The logistics hauler appears to have been isolated long enough for attackers from ur dunked to close in and finish the job, with a Nidhoggur landing the final blow.

THE CATCH

The engagement in Passari was over almost as soon as it began, but the outcome was anything but minor. Morrigan Fate’s Occator, flown for Hard Knocks Citizens, was destroyed in a small local fight involving just six participants. In a system where seconds matter, that kind of exposure can be fatal for a vessel built around moving valuable cargo rather than surviving prolonged attention.

THE DAMAGE

The loss totals show a ship that was carrying far more than a routine load. The Occator accounted for 1.3 billion ISK in value, with 755 million ISK destroyed outright and another 583.2 million ISK recovered from the wreck. Among the most notable losses were capital components, including a Capital Pulse Shield Emitter and Capital Jump Drive, suggesting the hauler was carrying expensive and potentially strategic materials when it was caught.

THE FINISH

The final blow came from Dankeguy in a Nidhoggur, while another attacker, Dankguy in a Redeemer, also contributed heavily to the destruction. With two attackers doing the decisive work, the kill appears to have been a focused strike rather than a sprawling brawl. Once the Occator was pinned down, there was little room left for a clean escape.

WHY IT MATTERS

For Hard Knocks Citizens, the loss of a capital-fit Occator in Passari is the sort of event that hurts twice: once in the ISK, and again in the disruption of whatever was being moved. For ur dunked, it is a tidy and expensive catch that shows how quickly an unguarded hauler can become the day’s prize. In New Eden, a transport ship is only as safe as the moment before it is noticed.

ChuangShi Parked 234 Ships in P-ZMZV. Can't park there m8 Noticed.

The first confirmed loss in P-ZMZV wasn't a ship. At 13:49 the opening entry on the killboard is a capsule - a pilot's escape pod, logged and destroyed. The last entry, some two and a half hours later, is an Osprey Navy Issue flown for Black Layer Syndicate. In between, the system swallowed 581 losses and roughly 1.77 trillion ISK, and when the shooting finally stopped, one side was still out there sweeping the grid for pods.

Rattini Tribe Topped Amamake's Kills and Its Losses

At 22:01 UTC the first wreck of the night was a Slasher, a frigate so cheap it barely registers as a rounding error in a system like Amamake. Nearly four hours later, at 01:59, a Hecate stopped burning and the shooting finally trailed off. In between, Heimatar's most notorious lowsec system swallowed a Titan, a supercarrier, thirty-three capitals and somewhere in the region of 12.2 trillion ISK of everything else. The final tally: 1,705 ships destroyed, roughly 44,900 pilots credited across the killmails, and one alliance sitting proudly at the top of both the kill column and the loss column.

Evermore Warriors Lose Ten as Eight Capitals Melt in Fifteen Minutes

At 02:06 UTC a Hurricane exploded in V2-GZS. Fourteen minutes later the last loss on the board was a capsule belonging to a Hounds of War. pilot, and the Kalevala Expanse had eight fewer capitals in it than it did a quarter of an hour earlier.

Big Vantus Paid 15 Ships Toward Pochven's 72 Billion ISK Tab

Of the 47 ships destroyed in Ignebaener, 46 were, in ISK terms, background noise. The 47th was a Paladin valued at just under 57.5 billion ISK - close to four-fifths of everything the system destroyed in one sitting. One hull, one pilot, one very bad moment, and the number that will define this fight long after the killboards stop updating.
