Frequently Impatient’s Nestor became the centre of attention in a 4.7 billion ISK engagement involving eight participants, with SONS of BANE on one side and S0B Citizens Alliance on the other. The scale suggests a tight interception rather than a sprawling fleet action, and the Nestor was the prize that did not get away.

THE WEAPONRY

The attackers brought at least six ships to bear on the target, led by Tarak Moloc in a Thunderchild, who landed the final blow. He was joined by SpyderRhoe, SleeperRhoe, and 84R7, also flying Thunderchilds, while another attacker listed as an Angel Dreadnought added a massive share of the damage. That mix of hulls suggests the Nestor was not facing a casual roam, but a concentrated hit from a force willing to commit serious firepower to finish the job quickly.

THE BREAK

The Nestor carried the kind of fitting that marks it as a serious vessel in any fight: a Centum A-Type Multispectrum Energized Membrane, a Republic Fleet Large Cap Battery, a True Sansha Cap Recharger, and a Caldari Navy Large Graviton Smartbomb were among the notable modules either dropped or destroyed. Ten Warrior IIs were recovered from the wreckage as well, hinting at a setup built for endurance and control. Instead, the ship was overwhelmed before it could escape the pressure closing around it.

THE COST

The loss split into roughly 2 billion ISK destroyed and 2.7 billion ISK dropped, making the wreck itself a partial consolation at best for the defenders. For S0B Citizens Alliance and Steel Daggers, the outcome was a sharp reminder that even a single cruiser-sized hull can become a painful casualty when caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. In a region where every expensive ship carries both value and reputation, this Nestor’s destruction will be remembered as a clean catch and a costly mistake.
