What followed suggests a compact but severe ambush rather than a drawn-out siege.
THE PRESSURE
The Naglfar did not go quietly. More than 3.7 billion ISK of the hull was destroyed, while 861.7 million ISK in fittings and cargo dropped into the wreckage. The ship’s hold tells part of the story: large stocks of Hydrogen Isotopes, Hail XL, Arch Angel Depleted Uranium XL, and Strontium Clathrates were among the items carried through the encounter. THE FINISH
The final shot came from Karsolen Ilen Keikira in a Redeemer flying with Ranger Regiment, ending the Naglfar after 30,911 damage of his own contribution. He was not alone in applying pressure. The field also included heavy incoming fire from an unaligned attacker, alongside damage from a Widow and multiple other Redeemers, including ships tied to The Initiative. and Worst Alliance Ever. The mix of black-ops hulls and outside fire suggests a chaotic close-range collapse once the target had been pinned down.
THE LOSSES
The Naglfar was not the only ship to fail the escape. A Redeemer was also lost in the same engagement, underscoring that the fight cut both ways even as it tilted heavily toward the attackers. With 6 billion ISK in total value destroyed, the skirmish was expensive enough to matter on its own, but the capital loss gives it real weight. For Fraternity., the destruction of a dreadnought hull in such a short engagement is the sort of setback that lingers well beyond the timer on the wreck.
