THE CATCH

The encounter in J132546 was brief, but it was anything but small. A lone Naglfar belonging to SUS Holding’s Aleena StormThunder was caught in the presence of 20 pilots, and the numbers suggest the ship had little room to work with once the attackers closed in. GOD LOVE 499 appears to have been the main force behind the destruction, with additional damage coming from a mix of other attackers as the capital was overwhelmed.

THE BREAK

The loss reads like a dreadnought caught at the wrong moment. The wreck left 4.2 billion ISK in destroyed value and 467.4 million ISK in dropped assets, putting the total loss at 4.6 billion ISK. For SUS Holding, the destruction of a Naglfar is the sort of setback that is hard to ignore: a capital ship gone, expensive fittings broken apart, and a high-value hull reduced to debris in a single encounter.
