Legion Cut Down in O-0ERG After Brief 3-Ship Hunt

A Fraternity. Legion was caught and destroyed in O-0ERG in a compact but costly interception that unfolded in seconds. The strategic cruiser went down to a small mixed hostile group, with the final blow landing from an Exequror Navy Issue after a short burst of concentrated fire.

THE CATCH

The fight in O-0ERG was over almost as soon as it began, but the consequences were not small. Wukong Michael’s Legion, flown for Fraternity., was destroyed in a 1.8 billion ISK engagement that saw seven pilots involved overall and only one ship lost. For a vessel built to stay alive through adaptability and careful fitting, that kind of end suggests the attackers found their moment and pressed it hard.

THE PRESSURE BUILDS

The damage came from a small, coordinated group rather than a massed fleet. Three attackers are recorded against the Legion’s loss, with PedroXXXX in an Exequror Navy Issue delivering the final strike, while Nashti McStevens in a Vedmak and Firestormize in a Drekavac added steady pressure. That mix points to a fast, close engagement where the target was pinned down long enough for its repair systems and buffer to be overwhelmed.

THE COLLAPSE

The wreckage tells part of the story. Significant ammunition was destroyed with the ship, including 1,200 Scourge Fury Heavy Missiles, while 800 Scourge Precision Heavy Missiles were recovered and more precision ammunition was lost in smaller amounts. Nearly 300 Nanite Repair Paste was also destroyed, suggesting the pilot had prepared for a fight that never lasted long enough to matter. The Legion’s 1.1 billion ISK in destroyed value and 730 million ISK in dropped assets leave the impression of a sharp, expensive loss rather than a prolonged stand.

WHY IT MATTERS

Single-ship losses like this rarely change a region on their own, but they do show how quickly a valuable strategic cruiser can be erased once it is isolated. For Fraternity., the destruction of a Legion in O-0ERG is a reminder that even a capable platform can become a liability if hostile pilots get the timing right. For the attackers, it was a clean prize: a high-value kill claimed by a small group, with the Exequror Navy Issue landing the finishing blow.

Evermore Warriors Lose Ten as Eight Capitals Melt in Fifteen Minutes

At 02:06 UTC a Hurricane exploded in V2-GZS. Fourteen minutes later the last loss on the board was a capsule belonging to a Hounds of War. pilot, and the Kalevala Expanse had eight fewer capitals in it than it did a quarter of an hour earlier.

Big Vantus Paid 15 Ships Toward Pochven's 72 Billion ISK Tab

Of the 47 ships destroyed in Ignebaener, 46 were, in ISK terms, background noise. The 47th was a Paladin valued at just under 57.5 billion ISK - close to four-fifths of everything the system destroyed in one sitting. One hull, one pilot, one very bad moment, and the number that will define this fight long after the killboards stop updating.

Brave Newbies Lost 21 Ships in 4-07MU and Shot Back With Interest

Somewhere around 19:25 UTC, a Caracal Navy Issue died in 4-07MU and 912 pilots decided that was a reasonable invitation. Two hours later the system had produced 200 wrecks, 67.2 billion ISK of damage, and not one capital ship - just battleship after battleship feeding itself into a fight that refused to end. The killboards call it a gank. The killboards are only half right.

Solyaris Chtonium Killed Redux.'s Avatar as 1,166 Pilots Watched

The last thing an Avatar expects to be doing is dying in lowsec, but Amamake has been ruining plans for a very long time. Redux.'s Amarr Titan - one of the largest and most expensive warships in New Eden - came apart in the Heimatar system with roughly 1,166 pilots involved in the kill, and a price tag of 142.7 billion ISK attached to a single loss.
