Kronos Falls in a Fast C8VC-S Catch

A Fraternity. Kronos worth 1.3 billion ISK was destroyed in C8VC-S as a small Dracarys. attack, aided by outside fire, turned a brief encounter into a costly loss for the marauder pilot cangshu.

THE CATCH

The fight in C8VC-S was over almost as soon as it began, but the result was anything but minor. Fraternity. pilot cangshu lost a Kronos in a clash involving six participants, with Dracarys. present on the attacking side and the final blow delivered by Arisu kurodia in a Vedmak. What looks like a compact skirmish on paper carried the weight of a hull that is never cheap to misplace.

THE PRESSURE CLOSES

The damage report suggests the Kronos was not simply worn down by a single ship. Arisu kurodia’s Vedmak claimed the finishing shot, but a Scourge Cruise Missile fired by an unaligned attacker did the largest share of the work. That combination points to a target that had already been forced into a bad position before the decisive strike landed. By the time the final volley arrived, the battleship’s margin for escape appears to have been gone.

THE LOSSES

The Kronos was destroyed outright, with only 29 million ISK in loot recovered from the wreck. Most of the value vanished with the hull, leaving behind the familiar frustration of a marauder loss: expensive fittings, a powerful ship, and very little to show for it when the structure finally breaks. The field also saw a mix of Null L among the dropped and destroyed cargo, a reminder that even a costly ship can be carrying the ordinary tools of combat when it goes down.

WHY IT MATTERS

For Fraternity., the loss of a Kronos is more than a line item. Marauders are built to project force and survive punishment, and losing one quickly in a small engagement suggests a moment where the pilot was exposed and punished before help could matter. For Dracarys., and for anyone else involved in the strike, it was a clean and expensive catch: the sort of brief kill that can shift a local encounter from routine to memorable in a matter of seconds.

Evermore Warriors Lose Ten as Eight Capitals Melt in Fifteen Minutes

At 02:06 UTC a Hurricane exploded in V2-GZS. Fourteen minutes later the last loss on the board was a capsule belonging to a Hounds of War. pilot, and the Kalevala Expanse had eight fewer capitals in it than it did a quarter of an hour earlier.

Big Vantus Paid 15 Ships Toward Pochven's 72 Billion ISK Tab

Of the 47 ships destroyed in Ignebaener, 46 were, in ISK terms, background noise. The 47th was a Paladin valued at just under 57.5 billion ISK - close to four-fifths of everything the system destroyed in one sitting. One hull, one pilot, one very bad moment, and the number that will define this fight long after the killboards stop updating.

Brave Newbies Lost 21 Ships in 4-07MU and Shot Back With Interest

Somewhere around 19:25 UTC, a Caracal Navy Issue died in 4-07MU and 912 pilots decided that was a reasonable invitation. Two hours later the system had produced 200 wrecks, 67.2 billion ISK of damage, and not one capital ship - just battleship after battleship feeding itself into a fight that refused to end. The killboards call it a gank. The killboards are only half right.

Solyaris Chtonium Killed Redux.'s Avatar as 1,166 Pilots Watched

The last thing an Avatar expects to be doing is dying in lowsec, but Amamake has been ruining plans for a very long time. Redux.'s Amarr Titan - one of the largest and most expensive warships in New Eden - came apart in the Heimatar system with roughly 1,166 pilots involved in the kill, and a price tag of 142.7 billion ISK attached to a single loss.
