High-Value Impel Lost in B3QP-K After Brief Interception

A 3.4 billion ISK Impel was caught and destroyed in B3QP-K, ending a costly run for Synergy of Steel before the heavy transport could slip clear. The ship fell to Guardians of Tranquility, with GoodBread in a Gnosis landing the final blow in a fight that appears to have been over almost as quickly as it began.

THE CATCH

The encounter in B3QP-K was a small one on paper, but the price tag gave it real weight. Four participants were involved, and the only loss recorded was Nina Edward’s Impel of Synergy of Steel, a ship valued at 3.4 billion ISK. For a transport hull built around hauling and endurance, that kind of loss is never routine.

THE BREAKDOWN

The damage split suggests the attackers were able to put the ship under enough pressure to force a rapid collapse. Of the Impel’s value, 2 billion ISK was destroyed and 1.4 billion ISK dropped from the wreck. Among the recovered and destroyed ammunition, the mix of long-range charges and heavy missile supplies points to a vessel prepared for extended travel or security, but not enough to survive the attention it drew.

THE FINAL BLOW

Guardians of Tranquility claimed the destruction, with GoodBread of Temple of Tuvan Orth flying a Gnosis and landing the decisive shot. The attack was concentrated rather than sprawling: one attacker is recorded as delivering 13,768 points of damage, enough to finish the ship once the fight had gone against it. In a brief engagement, that is all it takes for a heavily fitted transport to become wreckage.

THE COST

For Synergy of Steel, the loss of an Impel is more than a single ship gone missing. It removes a valuable logistics asset and leaves behind an expensive reminder that even robust hulls can be pinned down in the wrong place at the wrong time. For Guardians of Tranquility, it is a clean interception and a neatly collected prize in a system where every exposed high-value ship can become an opportunity.

Evermore Warriors Lose Ten as Eight Capitals Melt in Fifteen Minutes

At 02:06 UTC a Hurricane exploded in V2-GZS. Fourteen minutes later the last loss on the board was a capsule belonging to a Hounds of War. pilot, and the Kalevala Expanse had eight fewer capitals in it than it did a quarter of an hour earlier.

Big Vantus Paid 15 Ships Toward Pochven's 72 Billion ISK Tab

Of the 47 ships destroyed in Ignebaener, 46 were, in ISK terms, background noise. The 47th was a Paladin valued at just under 57.5 billion ISK - close to four-fifths of everything the system destroyed in one sitting. One hull, one pilot, one very bad moment, and the number that will define this fight long after the killboards stop updating.

Brave Newbies Lost 21 Ships in 4-07MU and Shot Back With Interest

Somewhere around 19:25 UTC, a Caracal Navy Issue died in 4-07MU and 912 pilots decided that was a reasonable invitation. Two hours later the system had produced 200 wrecks, 67.2 billion ISK of damage, and not one capital ship - just battleship after battleship feeding itself into a fight that refused to end. The killboards call it a gank. The killboards are only half right.

Solyaris Chtonium Killed Redux.'s Avatar as 1,166 Pilots Watched

The last thing an Avatar expects to be doing is dying in lowsec, but Amamake has been ruining plans for a very long time. Redux.'s Amarr Titan - one of the largest and most expensive warships in New Eden - came apart in the Heimatar system with roughly 1,166 pilots involved in the kill, and a price tag of 142.7 billion ISK attached to a single loss.
