Against a compact attacker presence, the Marauder never found room to turn the engagement back in its favour.
THE STRIKE
Stain Neurodiverse Democracy committed three visible attackers to the kill: Little Focker in a Leshak, El Cobradero in an Armageddon, and xxx1972 Talvanen in a Sabre. The Sabre’s presence suggests the sort of tackle that keeps a target honest while the heavier ships apply pressure. Little Focker delivered the final blow, but the damage spread across the small group, indicating a coordinated hit rather than a single opportunistic shot.
THE LOSSES
The Golem did not go down lightly. The destruction totaled 4 billion ISK, with 2.9 billion ISK lost outright and 1.1 billion ISK recovered in drops. Its cargo and fittings tell the story of a ship built to fight, with large stocks of Mjolnir cruise ammunition destroyed or scattered in the wreckage. For Dracarys., the loss of a fitted Marauder is the sort of setback that stings long after the wreck has been cleared.
WHY IT MATTERS
Single-ship losses of this scale matter because they show how quickly a valuable hull can be isolated and erased when it is caught out. In a region where expensive ships are meant to project power, the destruction of a Golem by a small hostile group is a sharp reminder that even heavily armed platforms can become vulnerable the moment an enemy gets the right angle.
