What began as one pilot’s dangerous exposure quickly became a focused hunt, with New Eden Pyrothecnics credited on the final blow and nine attackers recorded against the ship itself.
THE KILLING BLOW
The final strike came from Gundaar Boltarson flying a Purifier, a reminder that covert pressure can be enough to finish even a heavily armed marauder once it has been pinned down. Supporting attackers from several small groups added to the pressure, including additional Purifiers and one capsuleer in a capsule, suggesting the target had already been badly destabilised before the end came.
THE LOSSES
The Golem’s destruction accounted for 2.8 billion ISK in total value, with 1.6 billion ISK destroyed and another 1.2 billion ISK dropping into space. The wreckage included large stores of cruise missiles, with Caldari Navy Scourge Cruise Missiles among the items recovered and Caldari Navy Inferno Cruise Missiles split between what was lost and what survived the blast.

For the attackers, the fight in Inaya appears to have been a clean and deliberate interception rather than a sprawling fleet action, the sort of strike that rewards patience and punishes any moment of overconfidence.
