A 1.9 billion ISK ship was destroyed in a brief but costly clash in ID 31001475, where 13 pilots were drawn into a fight that ended with the target overwhelmed and stripped of more than half a billion ISK in recoverable cargo and fittings.

THE CATCH

The engagement was over almost as soon as it began, but the price was anything but small. In system ID 31001475, a single ship identified as ID 28710 was brought down in a 13-pilot encounter that turned into a concentrated takedown. The victim, ID 2116492131 of ID 98835184, lost a hull valued at 1.9 billion ISK, with the wreck yielding 535.8 million ISK in dropped assets and 1.3 billion ISK destroyed along with it.

THE PRESSURE BUILDS

The attackers appear to have committed nine pilots to the kill, with the final blow landing from ID 95289345 flying ID 29990. Several of the most active damage dealers were also in ID 29990, suggesting a compact strike group working the target down quickly once it was pinned. The damage was spread across a small number of pilots, but the result was decisive: the ship had little room to survive once the group closed in.

THE LOST CARGO

The wreck left behind a noticeable amount of value, but not enough to soften the blow. Among the items recovered were multiple stacks of ID 24521 and ID 24529, alongside ID 28668, hinting at a loaded ship that had plenty worth chasing. Even so, the bulk of the value went up with the hull, and the destruction of 1.3 billion ISK in assets underlines how expensive this catch was for the victim.

WHY IT MATTERS

This was not a sprawling battle, but it did not need to be. Encounters like this matter because they show how quickly a high-value ship can be isolated and dismantled when a hunting group finds its moment. In a system that saw only a short-lived fight, the attackers secured a prize worth nearly two billion ISK and left behind a wreck that will be remembered far more for its price than for its duration.
