Geminate Pressure Builds as Defenders Begin to Recover Ground

Pressure is still building in Geminate, but the shape of the campaign is changing. Goonswarm Federation remains under strain in LX-ZOJ, yet the latest snapshot suggests the defenders are beginning to regain ground after roughly 20 hours of localised pressure.

THE FIRST COUNTER

What began as a focused sovereignty push in LX-ZOJ is no longer looking like a one-sided squeeze. The defenders are now regaining ground, which suggests the campaign has reached a more contested phase rather than a clean advance. For a regional effort this early in its life, that shift matters: it shows the pressure has been strong enough to force a response, but not yet so overwhelming that the defending side has been pushed back entirely.

THE BORDERS TIGHTEN

The campaign remains localised, centered on a single system rather than spreading across Geminate in a broad sweep. Even so, the signals point to pressure beginning to extend beyond the original point of contact and into new systems. That kind of movement can change the character of a campaign quickly, especially when a defender is starting to recover ground instead of simply absorbing damage. It suggests the front is still unsettled and may widen further if the pressure continues.

LX-ZOJ HOLDS THE FOCUS

With LX-ZOJ still the only system explicitly in play, the system has become the clearest marker of where this campaign stands. No systems have been removed, and none have been added beyond the one already under attention, which keeps this phase tightly anchored. For Goonswarm Federation, that means the contest is still concentrated enough to matter locally, but not yet broad enough to call the entire region into question.

WHAT THE RECOVERY SIGNALS

The fact that defenders are regaining ground this early may indicate that the campaign has entered a more difficult phase for the side applying pressure. It does not erase the strain on the region, but it does suggest the defending coalition is finding ways to stabilise the situation. In New Eden, that can be enough to turn a fast-moving push into a longer, more expensive campaign of persistence and counter-pressure.

THE NEXT FRONT

For now, Geminate looks like a region under active but contained pressure rather than a map-wide collapse. The immediate question is whether the spreading pressure can break out beyond its current limits, or whether the defenders’ recovery in LX-ZOJ will harden into a more durable stand. Either way, the campaign is still in motion, and the next snapshot will matter for showing whether this is the beginning of a wider advance or the point where defenders start to slow it down.

Scan Stakan Killed 55 Ships and Lost 186 in the Same Fight

E-WMT7 produced 376 killmails, somewhere around 134 billion ISK of wreckage, and one battleship worth more than a force auxiliary, a Nestor and a Typhoon Fleet Issue put together. The number that stings harder is 186. That is how many ships Scan Stakan lost in the same engagement in which they killed 55 - top of the kill list and top of the loss list, in a single three-and-a-half-hour afternoon.

x Never Regret x Takes 40 Kills as Raa Burns 26 Capitals

At 17:28 UTC, a Retriever died in Raa. Retrievers die constantly, and in Devoid that is more or less the job description. This one is only worth mentioning because of what followed it: for the next hundred minutes, a system on the edge of Amarr space turned into a scrapyard, and by the time the last shot landed at 19:10, 87 ships had been destroyed and the bill had reached 157.4 billion ISK. Almost half of that was one Revelation.

Rattini Tribe and Prime Directive. Split Dal's 192 Billion ISK Bill

An Amarr Shuttle belonging to G0lden Fleet. died in Dal at 16:15 UTC. That is not normally the opening line of a 192 billion ISK story, but Dal spent the next three hours and forty-one minutes making sure nobody forgot it. By the time the last capsule in the system - belonging to x Never Regret x - came apart at 19:56, 557 pilots had produced 516 confirmed losses, fourteen capital ships had been wrecked, and the Heimatar system had eaten just over 192 billion ISK. That is not a skirmish somebody stumbled into. That is a decision, made over and over, for the better part of four hours.

Brave Newbies Topped Both Sides of the HY-RWO Ledger

The first ship to die in HY-RWO was a Rokh worth 44.7 billion ISK, and it set the tone for everything that came after. Over the following hour, 1,883 pilots fought in the Catch system, 243 ships were destroyed, and around 205 billion ISK was removed from the economy one killmail at a time. Not a single capital ship died. In a fight of that size, the most expensive losses were ordinary battleships, fitted in a way that makes the word 'ordinary' sound absurd.
