YMJG-4 Battle Continues as 239-Ship Clash Ends in 6.5B ISK in Losses

The fighting in YMJG-4 continued for nearly four hours, and when the smoke finally cleared the field had cost both sides dearly. The renewed clash involved 239 participants and ended with 151 losses worth 6.5 billion ISK, with Fraternity., Test Alliance Please Ignore, The Initiative., Deep Space Pathfinder and others all taking part in the grinding exchange.

THE CONTINUED CLASH

What began as a major battle in YMJG-4 appears to have stretched into a prolonged contest of attrition. The latest phase of the fight ran from 17:03 UTC until 20:59 UTC, keeping the system under pressure as fleets and smaller elements traded blows across the engagement.

THE FORCE COMPOSITION

The loss profile suggests a heavy subcapital fight, with Maelstroms, Omen Navy Issues and Feroxes making up much of the destruction. Flycatchers, Hyenas and Deacons also fell, pointing to tackle, support and logistics elements being committed alongside the main damage dealers rather than kept safely at range.

THE TURNING POINT

The scale of the engagement suggests neither side was able to cleanly force a withdrawal, and the damage spread across both coalitions. Fraternity. and Test Alliance Please Ignore, and others accounted for the larger share of value lost at 4.8 billion ISK, while The Initiative. and Deep Space Pathfinder, and others also absorbed more than 1.6 billion ISK in damage, showing a fight where control of the field came at a steep price for everyone involved.

THE COST OF HOLDING THE FIELD

No single ship class defined the outcome so much as the sheer volume of ships that were committed and destroyed. For both coalitions, the consequence is not just the ISK destroyed but the evidence that neither side could disengage without bleeding, leaving YMJG-4 marked by a fight that clearly remained live rather than settled.

Big Vantus Paid 15 Ships Toward Pochven's 72 Billion ISK Tab

Of the 47 ships destroyed in Ignebaener, 46 were, in ISK terms, background noise. The 47th was a Paladin valued at just under 57.5 billion ISK - close to four-fifths of everything the system destroyed in one sitting. One hull, one pilot, one very bad moment, and the number that will define this fight long after the killboards stop updating.

Brave Newbies Lost 21 Ships in 4-07MU and Shot Back With Interest

Somewhere around 19:25 UTC, a Caracal Navy Issue died in 4-07MU and 912 pilots decided that was a reasonable invitation. Two hours later the system had produced 200 wrecks, 67.2 billion ISK of damage, and not one capital ship - just battleship after battleship feeding itself into a fight that refused to end. The killboards call it a gank. The killboards are only half right.

Solyaris Chtonium Killed Redux.'s Avatar as 1,166 Pilots Watched

The last thing an Avatar expects to be doing is dying in lowsec, but Amamake has been ruining plans for a very long time. Redux.'s Amarr Titan - one of the largest and most expensive warships in New Eden - came apart in the Heimatar system with roughly 1,166 pilots involved in the kill, and a price tag of 142.7 billion ISK attached to a single loss.

Warlock Industries Alliance Lost 52 Billion ISK. It Wasn't Even a Capital.

Warlock Industries Alliance Lost 52 Billion ISK. It Wasn't Even a Capital.

Fifty-two point nine billion ISK, gone. One killmail. Eight hundred and forty-seven pilots on the record. Amamake has swallowed fleets, capitals, and more than a few alliances' sense of direction over the years. It has rarely swallowed 52.9 billion ISK in a single ship that was not even a capital. The victim was the Sarathiel, flying under the banner of Warlock Industries Alliance. The credited killer was Minmatar Fleet Associates. And every one of those 847 names belongs to the same kill.
