Only five pilots are tied to the broader incident, and the fight itself resolved in a single moment rather than a drawn-out exchange.

THE KILL

The final blow came from Tina Ortini in a Revelation Navy Issue, with Magah Ohu in a Purifier adding pressure before the Widow went down. The loss shows a vessel that is built to be dangerous and elusive being cornered by a compact, disciplined attack. For a black-ops battleship, every appearance on grid carries risk; here, that risk appears to have been punished immediately.

THE HAUL

The Widow was carrying a substantial amount of ammunition and fuel, including 71,666 Nitrogen Isotopes and large stocks of Rage torpedoes in several damage types. Some of that cargo dropped, while more was destroyed in the wreck, leaving 256.5 million ISK to be recovered from the total 1.7 billion ISK destruction. The ship itself accounted for most of the damage, with 1.4 billion ISK destroyed.

WHY IT MATTERS

A Widow loss is never just another hull on the wreckage report. Black-ops battleships are expensive, specialist assets, and their destruction in a small-scale clash suggests a target that was exposed for long enough to be punished.
