THE CATCH
The engagement in R-ORB7 was over almost as soon as it began. Against one Widow, there was only one known attacker: a pilot in The Antimatter Channeler, identified only as Unknown attacker. That lone ship delivered the final blow and accounted for the full 108,959 points of damage recorded in the encounter, suggesting a tightly focused strike rather than a drawn-out brawl.
THE TARGET
The ship itself made the loss stand out. A Widow is not the kind of hull that vanishes unnoticed, and this one carried a loaded and expensive fit: more than 52,000 Nitrogen Isotopes, thousands of Nova Rage Torpedoes, Nanite Repair Paste, and a stock of Nova Javelin Torpedoes. Some of that cargo survived the destruction, but 2.2 billion ISK in value was lost with the hull, while 862.7 million ISK appears to have been recovered from the wreck.
THE BREAK
With only two participants recorded in the fight, there was no sign of a larger exchange developing around the target. The result suggests the Widow was isolated and unable to turn the encounter into a prolonged escape attempt. For a ship built around sudden violence and stealth, the irony is hard to miss: this time, the black-ops battleship was the one that failed to slip away.
THE CONSEQUENCE
For Goonswarm Federation, the loss of a Widow is more than an expensive write-off. At 3.1 billion ISK, the destruction was severe enough to stand on its own, even without wider battle lines around it. In a region where brief windows of vulnerability can decide everything, R-ORB7 now has one more reminder that even high-end ships can be caught when the wrong moment opens up.
