THE HUNT
The attacking group was not large, but it was enough to control the fight. A Loki delivered the final blow, with supporting damage from a Curse and a Scimitar among the listed attackers. A Sabre was also present, which suggests the target may have been held in place long enough for the heavier damage dealers to finish the job. For a Widow, once the fight turns into a box, the margins for escape vanish quickly.
THE LOSSES
The ship itself was the story here. A Widow is never a casual loss, and at 2.4 billion ISK this one would have drawn attention regardless of the rest of the circumstances. The wreck left behind a mix of destroyed and dropped assets, but not enough to soften the impact. Even when the battlefield is small, the destruction of a capital-grade stealth platform carries weight.
WHY IT MATTERS
This was the kind of clean interception that rewards timing over scale. Eight participants, one expensive target, and a fight that ended in seconds tell the story of a force that found the opening and took it. In a universe where a single mistake can erase billions, the destruction of a Widow in such a short exchange is consequence enough.
