A Fraternity. Widow was caught and destroyed in MY-T2P in a sharp 10-pilot clash that ended with The Initiative. claiming a 2.2 billion ISK prize. The black ops battleship did not go quietly, but the fight appears to have closed quickly once the hunters got hold of it.

THE CATCH

The engagement in MY-T2P was brief but costly. A Widow flown by CSQY-1216520 of Fraternity.'s Navigators' Union was destroyed in a fight involving 10 participants, with The Initiative. credited on the attacking side. The loss came to 2.2 billion ISK, turning a short encounter into a very expensive mistake for the defending side.

THE FINAL BURST

The decisive blow came from FireAnt 2020 flying a Redeemer for The Initiative., though the damage on the target was clearly shared across several attackers. Dr Volt in another Widow, an unaligned Pithi Destructor, and Blaster Worm in a second Widow all contributed to the pressure before the black ops battleship finally went down. The presence of a Prospect among the attackers suggests this was a hunt with eyes on the target before the collapse.

THE PRICE OF OVEREXTENSION

The wreck tells its own story. Large quantities of Nitrogen Isotopes were destroyed, while missile ammunition was split between cargo that dropped and rounds that were lost with the ship. That mix of losses suggests the Widow had been carrying enough supplies to remain active for some time, only for those reserves to vanish when the ship was overwhelmed.

Even with some of the cargo recovered, the destruction and dropped value combined to make this a significant win for The Initiative. and a painful setback for Fraternity. in MY-T2P.
