The ship, flown by Pedrolini of Strange Affairs Department, was destroyed by attackers from Renminbi Alliance, with the final blow credited to smater van in a Babaroga.

THE CATCH

The fight in Maurasi was brief, but it ended with a prize that was always going to draw attention. Only four pilots appear to have been involved, yet the loss was significant: a Vindicator, one of New Eden’s most dangerous battleships, was caught and destroyed before it could escape the engagement.

THE KILL

The decisive damage came from smater van, flying a Babaroga for Renminbi Alliance. An unknown attacker in a Pithi Arrogator also contributed, suggesting this was not a clean solo hunt but a small coordinated strike. The Vindicator itself was heavily loaded for combat, with large stocks of Null L and Void L ammunition among the items involved in the destruction.

THE LOSSES

The ship accounted for 1.7 billion ISK in total value, with 1.1 billion ISK destroyed outright and 568.9 million ISK recovered from the wreckage.
