THE CATCH
The engagement in Auga was small, but the result was anything but routine. A single Viator, flown by Asbestos Removal Expert of Cuckold Cleanup Crew, was brought to destruction in a fight that involved only four participants in total. For a ship built around moving valuable cargo through dangerous space, that is a brutal kind of ending: no room to run, no room to bargain, and no margin for error once the hunters were in position.
THE BREAK
Loot Kings of Assah appear to have been the force that closed the net, with NON-STOP AGRESSION in a Praxis recording the final blow. The target’s cargo suggests why the loss stung so hard. Among the destroyed and scattered contents were large quantities of light missiles and Scordite, the sort of mixed hold that points to a ship doing real work rather than simply moving empty. Some of the ammunition survived the wreck, but a substantial amount was destroyed along with the hull.
THE LOSSES
The Viator itself accounted for 639.2M ISK in destroyed value, while another 361.1M ISK in cargo and fittings was lost with it, bringing the total damage to 1B ISK. That makes this more than a routine transport kill. The combination of a blockade runner, a full hold, and a clean interception turns the event into a reminder of how quickly an apparently practical run can become a costly mistake once the wrong ship is exposed at the wrong moment.
WHY IT MATTERS
For Cuckold Cleanup Crew, the loss removes both a ship and the value it was carrying. For Loot Kings of Assah, it reads as a successful hunt in a border system where speed and caution are supposed to decide the outcome. In Auga, this one ended with the hunters holding the prize and the Viator reduced to wreckage, a sharp and expensive lesson in the risks of moving freight through contested space.
