The fight in EIMJ-M was over as quickly as it began. A single Thunderchild, flown by Nacitne Lab of Dracarys. and Steel Legion Brotherhood, was destroyed in a brief exchange against an unaligned attacker. With just two participants recorded, the encounter suggests a close-range catch rather than a drawn-out engagement.
THE BLOW
The final blow came from an attacker flying a Corpus Cardinal, an unusual and conspicuous choice for the finishing ship. The attacker was listed as unknown, but the damage was decisive enough to end the Thunderchild and leave little room for escape or recovery. At 44,189 damage done by the final attacker, the ship was finished cleanly once the trap had closed.
THE LOSSES
The Thunderchild’s destruction accounted for 1.8 billion ISK in total losses, with 1.2 billion ISK destroyed and 643.8 million ISK dropped. Among the surviving fittings were Large Shield Extender II modules and a significant quantity of ElectroPunch Ultra L ammunition, while propulsion and hyperspatial modules were lost in the wreck. The result points to a heavily fitted ship being caught in a moment where mobility was not enough to save it.
THE CONSEQUENCE
For Dracarys., the loss of a Thunderchild is a sharp and expensive reminder that even powerful hulls can disappear fast when isolated. In a region where every capital-leaning or high-value hull invites attention, this was the kind of quick strike that leaves a mark well beyond the wreck itself.
