THE DAMAGE
The Thanatos did not go quietly. The result suggests a concentrated strike rather than a drawn-out brawl, with the carrier taking punishment from multiple angles before the final shot landed.
THE FINAL BLOW
Chavianne en Marland of SGExpress Mail Service secured the destruction in the Revelation Navy Issue, ending the Thanatos’s run in C2X-M5. The final blow matters less for the damage tally than for the timing: once a capital ship is pinned down and pressure is maintained, the last volley often becomes a formality. Here, the combination of capital support and the unidentified attacker’s earlier damage appears to have left the Thanatos with no path back out.
THE COST
Beyond the hull itself, the wreck carried the quiet casualties that make capital losses sting all the more. Oxygen isotopes, strontium clathrates, cap boosters, and Rogue Drone Infestation Data were among the items affected, while 85,655 Oxygen Isotopes were destroyed outright and 11,208 more were recovered.
