THE CATCH

The fight in 3T7-M8 ended with a Thanatos gone and a carrier pilot left to absorb a punishing lesson in timing. The ship belonged to snarley Hillbillys of Solyaris Chtonium’s F0RCED ENTRY corporation and was destroyed in a clash that involved 38 pilots overall, with Snuffed Out on one side and Solyaris Chtonium on the other.

THE PRESSURE BUILDS

Snuffed Out fielded 23 attackers in the final attack, and the ship that delivered the blow was a Raptor flown by StarConquer212. The damage spread across a mixed field of light ships and heavier support, suggesting the carrier was under sustained pressure rather than erased in a single clean strike. 1st lieutenant Addis, flying a Vargur for Solyaris Chtonium, was the highest-damaging listed attacker on the victim’s side, which points to a hard-fought engagement rather than a simple ambush.

THE BREAK

The Thanatos did not leave quietly. It carried fighters and supplies that were lost with the hull, including oxygen isotopes, nanite repair paste, and Dragonfly II and Dromi I assets. The ship’s 3.5 billion ISK in destroyed value, plus nearly 593 million ISK that dropped, shows how much of the carrier’s cost was trapped inside the wreckage when the fight was decided.

THE CONSEQUENCE

For Snuffed Out, this was a clean prize: a capital-class kill secured in a short engagement, and one that stripped a major asset from Solyaris Chtonium in a single instant.
