THE CATCH
The fight unfolded in J161119, a wormhole system where every mistake tends to be amplified. On this occasion, the target was a Tengu flown by Consolegamer1030 of SONS of BANE’s We do our best corporation. With eight pilots recorded on the field and five attackers tied directly to Blue Shadow Guard, the engagement was small, but the value at stake gave it real weight.
THE PRESSURE BUILDS
The first sign of trouble was the spread of damage from several directions. Blue Shadow Guard fielded its own Golem and Vindicator, while an unidentified attacker in a Oneiric Missile added a large share of the damage. That mix suggests the Tengu was facing a coordinated catch rather than a clean duel, and once the ship was pinned there was little evidence of an escape taking shape.
THE BREAK
Casimir Platinum, flying a Golem for Blue Shadow Guard, landed the final blow. By the end of the exchange, 1.2 billion ISK of the ship was destroyed outright and just over 203 million ISK in modules and cargo were recovered or dropped. Among the wreckage were large stacks of Caldari Navy Scourge Heavy Missiles, a reminder that the Tengu was carrying the tools it needed to keep fighting right up until the moment it was overwhelmed.
THE COST
For Blue Shadow Guard, the kill was less about numbers than about timing and control. In a wormhole system, a high-value strategic cruiser can quickly become a trapped prize if the wrong ships arrive at the right moment. For SONS of BANE, the loss of a 1.4 billion ISK Tengu is the sort of setback that is felt immediately: expensive, disruptive, and hard to ignore.
