The fight in RVCZ-C was over almost as soon as it began. Only two participants appear in the engagement, suggesting a tightly focused encounter rather than any broader fleet action. In that kind of moment, there is no room for drift or hesitation: a Tengu either holds the field or becomes a prize for whoever got there first.

THE TARGET

Arato Kion’s Tengu stood out immediately by scale alone. The strategic cruiser was carrying a mix of heavy assault ammunition, nanite repair paste, and spare repair components, a loadout that suggests the ship was prepared for prolonged activity rather than a quick loss. Instead, it was stripped apart for 1.7 billion ISK in destroyed value, while 2.6 billion ISK in fittings and cargo were recovered or left behind.

THE BREAK

The final blow was credited to an unknown attacker flying under the banner of Unaligned attackers, with the destroyer coming from a ship listed as Smoldering Archive Ruins. The naming reads more like the aftermath of something burned out than a conventional combat hull, but the result was unmistakable: the Tengu did not get away. The exchange appears to have been decided by timing and isolation, with no sign of reinforcement arriving in time to alter the outcome.

THE COST

For Fraternity., the loss of a Tengu is more than a routine casualty. Strategic cruisers are versatile, expensive, and often deployed where mobility and flexibility matter, which makes losing one to a single hostile particularly painful. In RVCZ-C, that risk was realized in full, and the 4.3 billion ISK loss will linger long after the wreck has vanished from the grid.
