The fight lasted only seconds on the clock, but the result carried the weight of a far costlier ship than the brief exchange might suggest.
THE TENGU'S LAST RUN
The Tengu was no throwaway cruiser. At 1.6 billion ISK, it represented a serious investment, and the loss of its heavy missile loadout suggests a combat-fit ship that was ready for action rather than travel. Its destruction left only 300.8 million ISK in loot behind, while the rest of the fitting and cargo burned away with the hull.
FOUR ATTACKERS, ONE TARGET
Lazy Worms Not Dead are named as the primary attacker organization, with additional damage coming from other pilots in Loki, Legion, and Nemesis hulls. That mix points to a compact gang able to apply damage quickly and keep the target from slipping free. Tony Goalardo’s Loki did the bulk of the work, while the rest of the group helped ensure the Tengu had nowhere to go once it was engaged.
WHY IT MATTERS
For Fraternity., the loss is less about the number of ships than the value concentrated in a single hull. A 3.2 billion ISK engagement that ends with two losses is still a sharp blow when one of those losses is a high-value Tengu. In New Eden, brief encounters like this often matter because they punish hesitation and reward the side that gets the first hard tackle and the cleanest damage application.
