A Fraternity. Tengu worth 1.5 billion ISK was destroyed in DO6H-Q in a brief, one-on-one strike that left little room for escape. The engagement was over almost as soon as it began, with an unidentified attacker in a Pithum Abolisher landing the final blow.

THE CATCH

The loss happened in the opening moments of a fight that never had time to grow. In DO6H-Q, Mokutan of Fraternity.’s Stardust-Guardian lost a Tengu valued at 1.5 billion ISK to an unaligned attacker. With only two participants recorded and the exchange resolved in the same instant it started, this appears to have been a sudden catch rather than a drawn-out duel.

THE KILLING BLOW

The attacker was flying a Pithum Abolisher, an unusual sight beside a heavyweight strategic cruiser. That lone ship delivered the final blow and accounted for all of the damage reported, suggesting the Tengu was caught exposed or unable to break free once the attack landed. The ship’s payload hints at a heavy missile fit, with thousands of Scourge Fury and Precision Heavy Missiles destroyed in the wreck.

THE LOSSES

The destruction amounted to 1.5 billion ISK in total value, with 1.3 billion ISK wiped out and just under 190 million ISK recovered. For Fraternity., the loss of a Tengu is more than a line item: it is the kind of ship that normally signals care, preparation, and a willingness to risk a costly hull in dangerous space. Here, that investment was gone in a flash.

WHY IT MATTERS

Single-ship losses like this are often where New Eden’s sharpest mistakes or best hunts are made visible. Even without a wider battle, the result in DO6H-Q shows how quickly an expensive cruiser can be turned into wreckage when the wrong target is isolated at the wrong moment.
