THE PRESSURE BUILDS
Nourv Gate Security Commission appears to have brought four attackers to bear on the cruiser, enough to force the issue quickly. The final blow went to Destroyer1020 in a Vigilant, while other members of the attacking group included two more Vigilants, a Damnation, and a Legion. That spread suggests a coordinated effort to pin the Tengu down and keep it from slipping away while damage accumulated.
THE BREAK
The Tengu did not go quietly. The cargo and fittings show a ship loaded for combat, with thousands of heavy assault missiles in multiple types and nanite repair paste onboard, evidence that the pilot was prepared for a prolonged fight. But preparation was not enough once the attackers had control of the engagement. The cruiser was torn apart, leaving 1.3 billion ISK in destroyed value and another 567.2 million ISK dropped into space.
THE LOSSES
For State War Academy, the loss of a Tengu is the sort of blow that is felt immediately: expensive, mobile, and dangerous enough to matter in almost any small- or medium-scale fight. For Nourv Gate Security Commission, the kill represents a clean and costly prize taken in a short window, and one that shows how quickly a well-placed group can turn a single mistake or moment of exposure into a billion-ISK disaster.
