THE CATCH
The loss in Sivala was brief, but it was anything but minor. PEPE SQUAD’s Tayra, flown by RUD AKOP of Russian Space Academy, was destroyed in a small engagement that involved just five participants in total. Against that limited field, the freighter’s smaller industrial profile and high-value cargo made it the obvious prize once KN CP closed the distance.
THE HUNT
KN CP committed two Ruptures to the attack, with Oltis Naari and Sunrise Naari applying the damage. The Tayra did not survive long enough to turn the encounter into a running escape. Oltis Naari secured the final blow, and the ship was lost along with cargo and fittings that pushed the total value to 3.4 billion ISK.
THE LOSSES
The destruction was uneven: 2.3 billion ISK was wiped out outright, while 1.1 billion ISK was recovered. Among the items destroyed were large quantities of Tritanium and Warpath Strategic Data, along with Capsule Cascade Fireworks. Celadon Mykoserocin and Capsuleer Starburst Fireworks were among the items that dropped, a reminder that even a doomed industrial can still spill something of value before it breaks apart.
WHY IT MATTERS
For PEPE SQUAD, the loss of a Tayra in Sivala is the kind of blow that is painful not because it was spectacular, but because it was expensive and cleanly executed. For KN CP, it was a successful interception: a small, disciplined kill that turned a vulnerable target into a substantial payday. In a universe where even a single industrial can carry serious value, the right two ships in the right place can still decide the outcome fast.
