THE CATCH
The engagement in Passari was brief, but it was not small in consequence. Eight pilots were involved across the two sides, with Snuffed Out responsible for the attack and Redeye Inc. on the receiving end. What began as a tight encounter quickly turned into a kill window for the attackers, who brought enough force to overwhelm the target before it could slip away.
THE GOLEM BREAKS
At the centre of the fight was Geroge Bush’s Golem, a ship that does not usually die cheaply or quietly. The battleship was destroyed by Spodumain Slurper flying a Redeemer, with support from other Snuffed Out pilots also in Redeemers. The damage profile suggests the Golem was carrying a substantial missile load, with large quantities of Caldari Navy Scourge Cruise Missiles and Scourge Auto-Targeting Cruise Missiles either dropped or destroyed as the hull went up.
THE ESCAPE FAILS
The destruction of the ship was followed by the loss of the capsule, extending the cost of the ambush beyond the battleship itself. With the attack credited to four Snuffed Out pilots at the decisive moment, the victim had little room to recover once the trap closed. The final blow from Spodumain Slurper ended the attempt to survive the engagement, and the Golem was left as wreckage in Passari.
THE PRICE OF A SHORT FIGHT
For Redeye Inc., the result was a concentrated loss: one expensive battleship, one capsule, and billions in value gone in moments. For Snuffed Out, it was a clean and efficient takedown that fits the shape of a successful hunt more than a sprawling battle. In New Eden, that sort of result matters because it shows how quickly a high-value ship can be turned from a weapon into loot and debris when it is caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.
