Against a lone Rorqual, three attackers from PUT THE FRIES IN THE BAG closed in and finished the job in a single burst of violence. The ship, piloted by sometimesomewhere of Paws n Claws Collective and flying under Moon Munchers LLC, was a high-value target by any standard, and the attackers made sure it never had the chance to turn the encounter into a fight.
THE BLOWLAND
The final blow came from Right Click Uninstall in a Zirnitra, with support from Exotic Dancer 4Hire in a Redeemer and Tali Indaara in a Pilgrim. The damage profile suggests a coordinated strike rather than a casual opportunistic volley, with the Zirnitra doing the heavy lifting as the capital industrial ship was overwhelmed. The loss of the Rorqual accounted for 5.9 billion ISK of destroyed value, while just under 1 billion ISK appears to have been recovered from the wreck.
THE HAUL LOST
For a Rorqual, the cargo and fittings are often part of the story, and this one was no exception. Large quantities of Oxygen Isotopes and Heavy Water were destroyed, along with mining charges and support ammunition tied to the ship’s industrial role. Some mining optimization and preservation charges dropped, but the rest appears to have been consumed in the destruction, reducing the value of what could be salvaged after the ship went down.
THE CONSEQUENCE
On paper this was a small fight, with only four participants and one loss, but the cost makes it hard to dismiss. A 6.9 billion ISK Rorqual is the kind of wreck that echoes well beyond the grid it died on, especially when it falls to a compact hunting group rather than a larger fleet. For Paws n Claws Collective, it is a painful reminder that even the most durable industrial hulls can be brought down quickly when exposed at the wrong moment.
