Redeemers Burn in LX5K-W as Dracarys. Catches Fraternity. Out in 4.9B ISK Fight

A short, sharp clash in LX5K-W ended with two Redeemers, a Proteus, and a capsule destroyed in a 4.9 billion ISK engagement that lasted barely over a minute. Dracarys. and allies appear to have found Fraternity. and Ferrata Victrix on the wrong side of a close-range fight, with a Moros Navy Issue landing the final blow on the most valuable loss of the exchange.

THE CATCH

The engagement in LX5K-W unfolded quickly, beginning at 09:49:51 UTC and ending just 78 seconds later. Twenty-three pilots were involved in what appears to have been a compact but costly interception, with Dracarys. and Goonswarm Federation on one side and Fraternity. alongside Ferrata Victrix on the other. The losses were concentrated rather than scattered: two Redeemers, a Proteus, and a capsule were destroyed before the target group could break away.

THE MAIN LOSS

The most consequential wreck was Konstantin81’s Redeemer of Fraternity., flown by a pilot from Thunder Shield. Valued at 1.6 billion ISK, the black-ops battleship was stripped of its momentum and then finished by YM sakura in a Moros Navy Issue. The kill left 1 billion ISK destroyed and 595.3 million ISK recovered or dropped, a reminder that even a covert battleship can become a glaringly expensive mistake once it is pinned in the wrong place.

THE BREAK

The fight suggests Dracarys. brought enough concentrated damage to force the issue, with a Sabre among the attackers helping to hold the field while heavier hulls applied the pressure. Sexy baby jiking’s Nidhoggur also appears to have played a major part in the damage output, while the Moros Navy Issue delivered the decisive strike. The wreckage included Helium Isotopes and repair supplies, but the ammunition tells its own story: Imperial Navy Multifrequency L, Conflagration L, and Scorch L were all destroyed in the fire, suggesting the Redeemer was fighting back at the moment it was overwhelmed.

THE AFTERMATH

For a fight of such brief duration, the consequences were immediate. Fraternity. lost not only a high-value Redeemer but also another Redeemer and a Proteus, turning the encounter into a painful exchange rather than a single unlucky casualty. With 4.9 billion ISK destroyed across four losses, LX5K-W became another reminder that small, fast-moving engagements can still erase capital-grade confidence in a matter of seconds when the wrong ship is caught exposed.

Big Vantus Paid 15 Ships Toward Pochven's 72 Billion ISK Tab

Of the 47 ships destroyed in Ignebaener, 46 were, in ISK terms, background noise. The 47th was a Paladin valued at just under 57.5 billion ISK - close to four-fifths of everything the system destroyed in one sitting. One hull, one pilot, one very bad moment, and the number that will define this fight long after the killboards stop updating.

Brave Newbies Lost 21 Ships in 4-07MU and Shot Back With Interest

Somewhere around 19:25 UTC, a Caracal Navy Issue died in 4-07MU and 912 pilots decided that was a reasonable invitation. Two hours later the system had produced 200 wrecks, 67.2 billion ISK of damage, and not one capital ship - just battleship after battleship feeding itself into a fight that refused to end. The killboards call it a gank. The killboards are only half right.

Solyaris Chtonium Killed Redux.'s Avatar as 1,166 Pilots Watched

The last thing an Avatar expects to be doing is dying in lowsec, but Amamake has been ruining plans for a very long time. Redux.'s Amarr Titan - one of the largest and most expensive warships in New Eden - came apart in the Heimatar system with roughly 1,166 pilots involved in the kill, and a price tag of 142.7 billion ISK attached to a single loss.

Warlock Industries Alliance Lost 52 Billion ISK. It Wasn't Even a Capital.

Warlock Industries Alliance Lost 52 Billion ISK. It Wasn't Even a Capital.

Fifty-two point nine billion ISK, gone. One killmail. Eight hundred and forty-seven pilots on the record. Amamake has swallowed fleets, capitals, and more than a few alliances' sense of direction over the years. It has rarely swallowed 52.9 billion ISK in a single ship that was not even a capital. The victim was the Sarathiel, flying under the banner of Warlock Industries Alliance. The credited killer was Minmatar Fleet Associates. And every one of those 847 names belongs to the same kill.
