THE CATCH
The centrepiece of the fight was a Redeemer flown by Fawzia bint Fuad of State War Academy, a ship expensive enough to turn heads and fragile enough to become a prize the moment it was exposed. Against it stood HOLD MY PROBS, whose force in the engagement appears to have been built around just enough heavies and tackle to keep the target from slipping away. The final blow came from Eva Hekkin in a Phoenix Navy Issue, underscoring how heavily the attackers were willing to commit once the opportunity was in front of them.
THE PRESSURE BUILDS
The engagement in JLH-FN pulled in 18 participants across the two sides and lasted from 14:41:33 to 14:43:15 UTC, suggesting a brief but decisive interception rather than a prolonged exchange. The attackers fielded a mix that included a Phoenix, a Moros Navy Issue, a Flycatcher and even a Covetor, while the defenders were split across multiple groups, including DPEBHUE PYCbI, Can i bring my Drake... and State War Academy. That spread hints at a chaotic local fight in which the Redeemer was isolated before the rest of the picture could shift.
THE BREAK
The ship itself tells part of the story. The Redeemer carried a rack of Imperial Navy and Scorch L ammunition, with some charges dropped and others destroyed as the hull went up, while more than 60,000 helium isotopes were consumed in the destruction. The loss value alone was enough to make the ambush worth the effort for HOLD MY PROBS, but the presence of multiple capital and black-ops hulls suggests this was no casual roam. Once the trap closed, the Redeemer never appears to have found an escape window.
THE COST
In total, three Redeemers were lost in the engagement, accounting for the full 3.8 billion ISK value recorded in the fight. The opening loss, however, stands out: Fawzia bint Fuad’s ship was destroyed with roughly 1 billion ISK in assets lost outright and only 320.3 million ISK recovered. For State War Academy and its allies, the immediate consequence was not just the loss of a rare and dangerous platform, but the kind of rapid, public defeat that signals a hunting fleet has found the right target at the right moment.
