THE CATCH
The fight in Cadelanne centred on a single ship that never had much room for error: a Redeemer flown by SilaLeta of Alea jacta est., backed by KOCMO-LLIKoJIA - Cepn n MoJLom. Against it stood ZERG REBORN, with 25 attackers credited on the destruction and 32 participants tied to the broader engagement. The scale suggests this was not a quiet stumble into danger, but a concentrated hunt that closed quickly around a high-value target.
THE PRESSURE
The attacking force came in hard and in numbers that left the Redeemer little chance to stretch the engagement out. Cyclones and Cyclone Fleet Issues did much of the work, with Giga Gnom, Alexander Dare, Gvozdara and Kublai Genghis Khan among the most active damage dealers. That kind of pressure usually means the target was pinned, boxed in, or simply unable to break free before the damage began to stack up.
THE COLLAPSE
Amarrovna, flying a Cyclone, landed the final blow and sealed the loss. By then, most of the Redeemer’s value had already been stripped away in destruction, with 973.3 million ISK lost and only 164.9 million ISK recovered as loot. The cargo tells its own story: helium isotopes, Imperial Navy Multifrequency L, and scanner probes were all caught up in the wreck, while nanite repair paste was largely destroyed rather than saved.
THE COST
For Alea jacta est., the loss of a Redeemer is more than a single ship removed from the field. Black-ops battleships are prized assets, and losing one for 1.1 billion ISK in a contested moment is the kind of blow that can reshape how freely a group is willing to project force. In Cadelanne, ZERG REBORN appears to have turned a fleeting opening into a very expensive ending.
