Redeemer Destroyed in a Sudden Tabbetzur Strike

A Shadow Cartel Redeemer was caught and destroyed in Tabbetzur in a swift engagement that left little room for escape. The black-ops battleship, flown by Aiyshimin of Mea Culpa., was eliminated by DarkSide. with Wurdalac’s Nidhoggur landing the final blow on a ship worth just under 1 billion ISK.

THE CATCH

The fight in Tabbetzur was over as quickly as it began. Only four pilots appear to have been involved, but the result was decisive: Shadow Cartel lost a Redeemer, one of its more dangerous and valuable covert-capable capitals of force projection. For Aiyshimin, there was no margin for error once the ship was exposed.

THE BREAK

DarkSide. emerged as the only attacking organization listed, with Wurdalac in a Nidhoggur credited for the final blow. The Redeemer took the bulk of the damage before going down, suggesting the target was isolated and unable to leverage the kind of stealth or surprise that usually keeps a black-ops battleship alive. The fight did not drag on; it ended in a sharp collapse.

THE LOSSES

The destruction amounted to nearly 980 million ISK, with only a small portion of the ship and fittings recovered. Among the destroyed cargo and modules were Helium Isotopes, Nanite Repair Paste, and ammunition for both short-range and long-range laser fire, including Conflagration L and Scorch L. The loss of those assets underlines how complete the kill was.

WHY IT MATTERS

A Redeemer is not a routine casualty. Even in a small encounter, its loss is a reminder that expensive ships can disappear fast when they are caught out of position. For Shadow Cartel, the destruction in Tabbetzur is a costly setback; for DarkSide., it was a clean and efficient prize taken in a matter of moments.

Big Vantus Paid 15 Ships Toward Pochven's 72 Billion ISK Tab

Of the 47 ships destroyed in Ignebaener, 46 were, in ISK terms, background noise. The 47th was a Paladin valued at just under 57.5 billion ISK - close to four-fifths of everything the system destroyed in one sitting. One hull, one pilot, one very bad moment, and the number that will define this fight long after the killboards stop updating.

Brave Newbies Lost 21 Ships in 4-07MU and Shot Back With Interest

Somewhere around 19:25 UTC, a Caracal Navy Issue died in 4-07MU and 912 pilots decided that was a reasonable invitation. Two hours later the system had produced 200 wrecks, 67.2 billion ISK of damage, and not one capital ship - just battleship after battleship feeding itself into a fight that refused to end. The killboards call it a gank. The killboards are only half right.

Solyaris Chtonium Killed Redux.'s Avatar as 1,166 Pilots Watched

The last thing an Avatar expects to be doing is dying in lowsec, but Amamake has been ruining plans for a very long time. Redux.'s Amarr Titan - one of the largest and most expensive warships in New Eden - came apart in the Heimatar system with roughly 1,166 pilots involved in the kill, and a price tag of 142.7 billion ISK attached to a single loss.

Warlock Industries Alliance Lost 52 Billion ISK. It Wasn't Even a Capital.

Warlock Industries Alliance Lost 52 Billion ISK. It Wasn't Even a Capital.

Fifty-two point nine billion ISK, gone. One killmail. Eight hundred and forty-seven pilots on the record. Amamake has swallowed fleets, capitals, and more than a few alliances' sense of direction over the years. It has rarely swallowed 52.9 billion ISK in a single ship that was not even a capital. The victim was the Sarathiel, flying under the banner of Warlock Industries Alliance. The credited killer was Minmatar Fleet Associates. And every one of those 847 names belongs to the same kill.
