A Redeemer was lost in System 30001560 after a short, sharp engagement that appears to have caught the covert-capable battleship on the back foot. The fight lasted only a few minutes, but it ended with the black ops hull destroyed and more than a billion ISK in value erased or stripped away.

THE CATCH

The action in System 30001560 unfolded quickly, with 18 pilots involved and both sides arriving from competing alliances. HOLD MY PROBS came away with the decisive result, while Skuffed Out. and an independent operator were left to absorb the loss of a Redeemer that stood out as the clear prize of the fight.

THE BREAK

The destroyed ship belonged to Unidentified pilot 2121634451 of Skuffed Out., flying under Alibaba Federation of Logistics and Purchasing. Two attackers were credited on the final loss, and the killing blow came from an unknown pilot flying Ship 73792 for HOLD MY PROBS. The Redeemer took 39,320 damage from that final attacker, suggesting the target was pinned down long enough for the ambush to finish its work.

THE LOSSES

The battleship did not go quietly in value terms. The wreck left behind 247.5 million ISK in drops, while 1.1 billion ISK was destroyed outright, bringing the total value tied to the loss to 1.4 billion ISK. Large Trimark Armor Pump II and Conflagration L were among the items destroyed, while a handful of other modules and cargo pieces were recovered from the field.

THE AFTERMATH

In total, the engagement accounted for 4.1 billion ISK in losses across three ships, all within a brief four-minute clash.
