By the end of the fight, the Initiative. hull was gone and the field belonged to the attackers.
THE FIRE CLOSES IN
The attacker's side was anchored by Insidious., with Fraternity. pilots also contributing to the damage. Guo Jing x in a Purifier, Erunen Ijamo Ikkala in a Gnosis, and other attackers pressed the damage while the Redeemer tried to hold together under fire. The final blow came from slamgina cc4lyfe flying an Omen Navy Issue, an unusual end for a ship of that class and one that suggests the target had already been forced into a losing position before the last shot landed.
THE LOSSES
The destruction amounted to 1.1 billion ISK in total value, with 867.6 million ISK destroyed and 224.1 million ISK recovered from the wreck. Among the cargo and fittings that did not survive were Scorch L ammunition, Imperial Navy Multifrequency L, nanite repair paste, helium isotopes, and Conflagration L. For Donas UA and The Initiative., the loss of a Redeemer is more than a simple ship kill; it is the loss of a specialised hull that rarely ends up exposed long enough to be brought down cleanly.
WHY IT MATTERS
Even as a single loss, this fight shows how dangerous a small, mixed response can be when stealth and heavier hulls are forced into the open. A black ops battleship slipping into a hostile engagement should be a threat; instead, in 4-HWWF, it became the prize. The result gives Insidious. and their allies a sharp, expensive success, and another reminder that in New Eden, even a ship built to appear only at the decisive moment can still be caught in the wrong one.
