The ship was taken down by a lone attacker from Something Really Pretentious, with WhatRUdoing Stepcousin in a Maller landing the final blow.

THE CATCH

The fight in Deltole appears to have been brief but decisive. A Prorator flown by Lis-Seliana of UF Heavy Industries came under attack and did not get away, despite the transport’s usual reputation for slipping through danger. With only four participants recorded around the engagement, this was a small and sharp interception rather than a drawn-out brawl.

THE HAUL BROKEN OPEN

What makes the loss stand out is not just the hull itself, but what it was carrying. The ship’s cargo and fittings pushed the total value to 2.2B ISK, with 1.7B ISK destroyed outright and another 531.5M ISK recovered from the wreck. Among the goods lost were large quantities of Zydrine and Caesium, while Cadmium, Cobalt and Platinum were among the items that spilled clear of the wreckage.

THE FINAL BLOW

The decisive strike came from WhatRUdoing Stepcousin, flying a Maller for Something Really Pretentious. The attacker appears to have been the only active aggressor involved in the takedown, making the result feel less like an exchange and more like a clean catch on a vulnerable target. In a fight this small, there is no room for error once a transport is pinned down.

For United Fleet, the loss of a blockade runner in Deltole is a reminder that even evasive logistics ships can be caught when the window closes. For the attacker, it is a tidy and expensive prize taken in a single moment.
