Praxis Lost in Sudden I-UUI5 Skirmish as Fraternity. Ships Close In

A 1.9 billion ISK Praxis was destroyed in I-UUI5 in a brief, four-pilot skirmish that appears to have turned on a tight and costly exchange at close range. The loss went to Fraternity. pilots, with a Stormbringer landing the final blow after the target’s defenses and support hardware were stripped away.

THE CATCH

The engagement in I-UUI5 was over almost as soon as it began, but the price tag was anything but small. Tangziyou’s Praxis, flown for Fraternity. and belonging to Red Scarf Humpback, was caught in a compact fight involving just four participants. The ship’s 1.9 billion ISK value made it the clear centerpiece of the action, a heavyweight hull that did not survive the encounter.

THE PRESSURE BUILDS

Available data suggests the Praxis was being pressured by multiple attackers rather than isolated by a single ship. Damage came from a mixture of Fraternity. and unaligned attackers, with the heaviest contribution listed from an unidentified Core Lord Admiral pilot. Two Stormbringers flown by tang007 and tang996 also applied fire, giving the fight the feel of a small but coordinated strike rather than a simple one-on-one loss.

THE BREAK

Once the Praxis began to fold, the attackers carved through the fittings that tend to keep a ship like this alive. A Core A-Type Kinetic Armor Hardener was among the modules lost, alongside a Republic Fleet Large Cap Battery. Its mobile tractor unit and drone bay were not spared either, with Vespa EC-600s destroyed and others dropping into space. The final blow came from tang007’s Stormbringer, sealing the ship’s destruction in a very short window.

THE COST

The destruction removed about 1.2 billion ISK in hull and fittings, while another 789.2 million ISK in value was recovered or destroyed in the wreckage. Even in a small engagement, that makes for a painful outcome. For Fraternity., the immediate significance is less about territorial change than the loss of a valuable and heavily fitted Praxis in a fight that offered little room for error.

Scan Stakan Killed 55 Ships and Lost 186 in the Same Fight

E-WMT7 produced 376 killmails, somewhere around 134 billion ISK of wreckage, and one battleship worth more than a force auxiliary, a Nestor and a Typhoon Fleet Issue put together. The number that stings harder is 186. That is how many ships Scan Stakan lost in the same engagement in which they killed 55 - top of the kill list and top of the loss list, in a single three-and-a-half-hour afternoon.

x Never Regret x Takes 40 Kills as Raa Burns 26 Capitals

At 17:28 UTC, a Retriever died in Raa. Retrievers die constantly, and in Devoid that is more or less the job description. This one is only worth mentioning because of what followed it: for the next hundred minutes, a system on the edge of Amarr space turned into a scrapyard, and by the time the last shot landed at 19:10, 87 ships had been destroyed and the bill had reached 157.4 billion ISK. Almost half of that was one Revelation.

Rattini Tribe and Prime Directive. Split Dal's 192 Billion ISK Bill

An Amarr Shuttle belonging to G0lden Fleet. died in Dal at 16:15 UTC. That is not normally the opening line of a 192 billion ISK story, but Dal spent the next three hours and forty-one minutes making sure nobody forgot it. By the time the last capsule in the system - belonging to x Never Regret x - came apart at 19:56, 557 pilots had produced 516 confirmed losses, fourteen capital ships had been wrecked, and the Heimatar system had eaten just over 192 billion ISK. That is not a skirmish somebody stumbled into. That is a decision, made over and over, for the better part of four hours.

Brave Newbies Topped Both Sides of the HY-RWO Ledger

The first ship to die in HY-RWO was a Rokh worth 44.7 billion ISK, and it set the tone for everything that came after. Over the following hour, 1,883 pilots fought in the Catch system, 243 ships were destroyed, and around 205 billion ISK was removed from the economy one killmail at a time. Not a single capital ship died. In a fight of that size, the most expensive losses were ordinary battleships, fitted in a way that makes the word 'ordinary' sound absurd.
