THE CATCH
The ship at the centre of the fight was a Praxis flown by Ieri Ishikela of Goonswarm Federation’s Peoples Liberation Army. It was not just the hull that made the loss sting: the fit included Domination Large Proton Smartbombs, a Large Nanobot Accelerator I, and multiple Capacitor Power Relay IIs, suggesting a purposeful and expensive configuration that gave the kill a far heavier weight than an ordinary cruiser-sized loss. In a system fight that began and ended almost instantly, that Praxis was the prize.
THE PRESSURE BUILDS
The attackers appear to have closed fast and at very close range. Three Goonswarm pilots — Akeri Je Talvanen, THKZY01, and Nalvula Ieki Panala — all applied substantial damage, each contributing more than 70,000 damage before the target went down. A fourth attacker, listed as an unaligned pilot in a Gistatis Primus, also added pressure to the exchange. The damage profile suggests the target was pinned long enough for the group to work through the shield and hull without giving it room to break away.
THE BREAK
Akeri Je Talvanen, also flying a Praxis, landed the final blow. The kill itself was decisive rather than prolonged: 1.3 billion ISK in value was destroyed, with only 173.4 million ISK reported as dropped assets. For the victim, that means most of the expensive fit went down with the ship, including both destroyed smartbombs and one of the capacitor relays. Whatever chance there may have been to escape or stabilize appears to have vanished once the small gang got control of range and stayed on target.
THE LOSSES
On paper, this was only a single ship destroyed, but it was the kind of loss that can matter well beyond the immediate grid. A fitted Praxis is never a throwaway hull, and a 1.5 billion ISK destruction in a localised encounter is the sort of event that reminds pilots how quickly a routine move can turn into a costly mistake. With both attacker and victim tied to Goonswarm Federation, the fight also suggests an internal or overlapping confrontation rather than a clean outside raid, adding an unusual edge to an already expensive wreck.
